(Examples: what would Borne Identity be like if there were X-men.
what would happen if Indiana Jones, met the world of Lestat the Vampire?
the only thing that I ask is that the paired concepts should be able to fit, so mixing the world of Winnie-the-Pooh with the world of 24, wouldn't really make much sense, but in truth I'm not say you can't do it, South Park does stuff like that all the time.
Another stipulation is that the story should try to be as true to both worlds as possible, settings should make sense in context, and any serial characters should be those characters in persona.
you can use any concept for this but I ask that at least one is well known to the group if not the general public.
Here is a reall great example of this kind of story.

I should clarify, The assignment is to mix two different mythologies in a way that they fit. this isn't a chance to bring Ray Romano into an episode of murphy brown, as a guest star, this is more like writing an episode for a mythology that encompasses characters and themes of both worlds.
What about Indiana Jones on Murphy Brown?
ok but it has to somehow mix the worlds of both, like murphy brown is an investigative journalist who reports on missing children in the temple of Lincoln's tomb, and ends up saving them, miles might be that guy from the third one who was really bad at everything, frank, might be the whinny chick who screams. and their always advancing a liberal agenda.
you can't just have an episode where indi walks into the news room of murphy brown... that would be a crossover.
or maybe I didn't think this through. I mean I hope this doesn't just result in "what if" fan fiction. although maybe thats what it is.
