Next month will be National Novel Writing Month. The goal of which is to write a 50k novel in 30 days (roughly, 1,667 words a day). I'll be attempting this, and I know Zach has done this in the past too. Is anyone else up for it?

You got any plans on what you're going to be writing yet, Zach? Last time I did not outline at all, and eventually be story collapsed into itself. I'm trying to get as much prep work done now so that doesn't happen again this year.
I'm probably down... school and other stuff notwithstanding. I'd really like to do this.
Now all I need is a plot.
And some characters.
And a theme.

So far, my strongest (e.g. most extensible) idea is a focus on duality between the Living World and The Other World.
basically, a blatant rip-off/mash-up of Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath and Full Metal Alchemist. :P
I'd have to drop out of my law school...so, yah, I'm in.
